From January the 14th until January the 21st an art exhibition will take place in Worms at Café Affenhaus withart from Death row. On Sunday 01/14/2007 at 15.00 o’clock will the inauguration take place. In the context of the exhibition the visitors can inform oneself about the death penalty. 08/14/2006 Art exhibition “Pictures from death row”
From 08/14/2006 until 09/01/2006 the art exhibition “Pictures from death row” took place on the foyer of the municipal savings bank of Schwelm. The exhibition was arranged on the occasion of the 30 years existence of the amnesty group Schwelm/Wuppertal in cooperation with Gerechtigkeit für Unschuldige Justice for the innocent e.V. While the opening hours of the municipal savings bank the visitors could marvel at art from for example Joseph Barrett and inform oneself detailed about the death penalty.

02/22/2006 Two new honorary members for Gerechtigkeit für Justice for
The organisation is glad to be able to bid Juan Melendez and Judy Caruso welcome for the future as new honorary members. Juan Melendez was released after he served a sentence of seventeen years and eighteen month, innocent on Florida death row. He was the 99. Inmate who was innocent captured on death row. Since his release he is deeply committed with the abolition of the death penalty and accomplishes educational wok about the injustice on the death penalty system. Judy Caruso is a lawyer and an activist of the human rights who is deeply committed in the USA. She advocates not only the rights of the inmates but is at the same time the outreach coordinator for Murder-Victims Families for Reconciliation-NM.
02/19/2006 Art exhibition and divine service with Gerechtigkeit für Justice for
On 02/19/2006 at 10 o’clock arranged Gerechtigkeit für Justice for a divine service against the death penalty on the Margareten church in Osnabrück. It was a memorial service for all people who were already executed or who still wait for their execution on death row. On the art exhibition which took place in the context of the divine service exhibited the organisation Gerechtigkeit für Justice for will show art work from death row.
07/02/2006 Juan Melendez Tour in Osnabrück
On 07/02/2006 Juan Melendez visited Osnabrück on his Tour. The press conference took place at 18.00 o’clock on the warehouse, Café Spitzboden. At 20.00 o’clock Juan Melendez gave a lecture about the death penalty and told his story. Juan Melendez was the 99.innocent Inmate on death row who was released again. On his tour which is organized by Anti-death- penalty organisations like Innocent in Prison Project international, ALIVE-Coalition against the death penalty e.V., Amnesty international- section of the federal republic Germany e.V. and Initiative gegen die Todesstrafe e.V. he visits many cities to elucidate the people about the death-penalty-system and whose injustice. The event in Osnabrück was supported by Diana Srowig and Simone Oberenzer, the managing committee as Co-organisers.

Diana Srowig and Simone Oberenzer, founder and managing committee of Gerechtigkeit für Justice for. were guests on radio station OSradio 104,8 in Osnabrück. On the interview they answered questions.
In the context of the interview they reported about the benefit concert which took place on the next day around 19.00 o’clock. The concert took place at the house of youth in Osnabrück with the singer Gabi Uhl as guest. The admission was free. On the following discussion forum Mrs. Uhl reported about her own experiences with the fight against the death penalty to which the presence of an execution counts.
