This is my husband Todd Mendyk. He was on Florida Death Row since 1987. We were married May 24, 2001 and he passed on March 2, 2002 from end stage brain cancer. We had a wonderful but short marriage albeit separated but we were spiritually connected up until he died. Medical care was hardly medical care unless he was out of compound. He drew me the most beautiful artwork and his first piece to me was a beautiful yellow rose, my favorite on pastel. He continued to send me roses. He is very missed. We loved each other very much.
