What are you allowed to send your pen pal?
Photos: No Polaroids allowed
allowed 3 Photos in each envelop
Stationary: You can send stamps, 15 stamps all at once or 3 each envelop. You can send writing materials.
Books and Magazines are allowed, allowed too are 10 CD’s and 15 tapes, as long as they come from a distribution company or store, with receipt inside.
Money: You may send money orders. These orders must have your full name and address and the prisoners name and number. They must be made out in US dollars. Ask your bank for directions on money orders.
Visitation: They are allowed to put two friends on the visitation list, the inmates send the name and address who wants to come and visit to the case manager, he or she sends them a visiting application. They fill it out and send in back to the case manager and in a couple of days they will be informed if they have been approved or not.
