What are you allowed to send your pen pal?

Here at California Correctional Institution we’re allowed to correspond with people from the outside without a limit to the people who write.
Through the mail:
- we are allowed to receive up to 10 pictures ( non-polaroid ) at a time
- up to 40 stamps or enclosed envelops
- 25 sheets of writing paper at a time,
- magazine subscription, books sent from a bookstore and
- copies of stuff downloaded off the internet.
The visitation:
The visitation process begins with the person wanting to visit an inmate filling out a visitation form sent to them by the inmate.
Visitation days are Saturday and Sunday as well as the following holidays, New years, 4th of July; Labor day; Thanksgiving and Christmas.

They can receive in the mail at one time 100 SHEETS of writing paper, 40 Blank envelops, 40 stamps, 10 blank greeting cards and unlimited pictures.
Visitation is Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 3 pm. You must be and approved visitor!
